Florida Forward: Conversations about Reforming Education
This special discussion will focus on the education reform movement in Florida. How we got where we are, what kind of reforms are being implemented in the coming school year (such as merit pay for teachers; an easier path for charter schools to open) and what kind of reforms might still come. We will talk about which reforms work and which ones don't and what the implications are for teachers, students and the state.
This Florida Forward will feature panelists Jeb Bush and Bill Sublette as well as other esteemed guests and is moderated by the Orlando Sentinel's "Opinion Editor" Mike Lafferty. You can participate by submitting your questions to the panel at the luncheon or through Twitter and Facebook. Don't miss this great opportunity to hear what Florida's leaders think the future will be for Education in our state.
